Been playing versions of this song for over 20 years, but it never felt really finished until now. Maybe because the story was still unfolding. In any case, this song taps into the feelings of warmth and love that come along with starting a family. And some of the bittersweet feelings as well. And the waves of changes that come as while the kids grow at the speed of sound. It's hard to put into words. But as a Zen master once said, you have to say something.
